The judges attending the review meeting were: Zeng Chenggang, vice chairman of the China Artists Association, President of China Sculpture Institute, Dean of the Shanghai Academy of Fine Arts, and vice dean of Academy of Fine Arts of Tsinghua University; Yin Shuangxi, vice-president of China Sculpture Institute and executive editor of Art Research; Dong Shubing, deputy secretary-general of China Sculpture Institute and Head of Sculpture Department of Academy of Fine Arts, Tsinghua University. Hua Chunjiang and Liu Meixia, Director and deputy director of China Sculpture Institute, also participated in the review conference.
The review conference consisted of 29 marquettes of the shortlisted works selected from domestic and foreign countries. The participating judges focused on the uniqueness and innovation of the project, public aesthetics and environmental protection, locality, implementability, durability and safety, adhering to the "fair, just, open" principle, selected 10 works. These works will be exhibited together with 5 special invitational works and 10 fixed invitational works.
